Our mission is to provide a neutral, courteous, and fair forum for the trial of all Class C misdemeanor offenses arising under Texas civil and criminal statutes and city ordinances. The Court is committed to administering justice in a fair, efficient, and timely manner.
The Court Clerk’s office is responsible for processing the clerical work of the court, setting trial dockets, collecting court fines and fees, maintaining court records, and preforming administrative duties delegated by the Judge.

Each case that is filed in the Kemah Municipal Court is considered an individual case and is adjudicated in that manner.
The City of Kemah Municipal Court is responsible for the adjudication of all Class C misdemeanor laws established by State Law and City Ordinance within the territorial limits of the City of Kemah.
Operations include conducting bench trials, jury trials, pre-trials, arraignments, hearings for juveniles, and show cause hearings. The court also issues arrest warrants, capias pro fines, subpoenas, summonses, and collects fines and fees.
